We purchased Toby directly from the breeder in September 2025 as a prospect for the future. Toby is a registered half welsh chocolate palomino gelding, bred by Sugarday Farm. He is out of C'mon Carmen, who was a successful adult amateur show hunter. Carmen's Holsteiner sire, Crown Affair, excelled in eventing and dressage before entering his impressive hunter career.
Toby is by the stunning welsh sire, Smoke Tree Dragontales. He is owned by Orchard Hill Ponies, was USEF zone 4 Hunter Pony Breeding Year-End award winner three years in a row, and has produced many successful offspring.
Toby has the best demeanor and is easy to deal with in every way. He has been in a huge growth spurt, so he is currently getting prepared to be lightly started and we look forward to bringing him along for the future. We are estimating that he will mature around 15.2.
Toby attended the Young Horse Show in November 2025 for his very first off the farm expereince and horse show. He eceeded all of our expectations.
