Glendale's Easter Bonnet

Bonnie is a 2022 Connemara cross mare, standing at 15.2 hands and still growing. She was bred by Deb Norman of Glendale Farm, who we have ridden many horses for. Bonnie was started under saddle in the summer of 2025 with WRE where she enjoyed an easy start on the flat, with lots of hacks and trail rides out. Bonnie has travelled off the farm to multiple horse shows, schooling outings, overnights and has been nothing but easy. She enjoys riding in both groups or solo, great with dogs and will make a fantastic future hunt horse. On the flat Bonnie is uncomplicated walk, trot, canter, halt, back up and has a green lead change. She has done some light exercises over poles and cavalettis and will begin light over fences work as a four year old. Bonnie has schooled the cross country courses from the ground to gain understanding and confidence up and down banks, through the water, as well as over logs and ditches.

In the jump chute Bonnie shows a great natural jump which will serve her well in the future in the hunt field or as a sport horse. She is brave, willing and incredibly trainable. Bonnie has very comfortable and smooth gaits under saddle, she is easy to handle in every way and is a barn favorite.

Bonnie shares the same dam as our beloved Brooklyn, who we have developed from the beginning and could not be more impressed by.
