Britches

sold

Britches is a 2016 nearly 15 hand off the track  thoroughbred mare who retired in 2019 after 9 starts (JC Silver Analyst). After being let down for a year, she has been a total joy to restart this winter. She is happy to ride in the arena and outside, alone or with company. She is confident across a variety of terrains including ditches and creeks. Britches has begun hilltopping with the Glenmore Hounds in Augusta, County. She is an uncomplicated ride in the hunt field, very sure footed and completely comfortable being surrounded by the pack of hounds. She has a very comfortable long trot that makes traveling across the country a breeze. She is the epitome of an amateur friendly horse and has an in-your-pocket personality with a lovely young curiosity about her, making her a farm favorite. With a natural balance and rhythm in all three gaits, she has quickly and confidently taken to lightly being started over fences and she is a very comfortable and uncomplicated young horse to ride. Britches would be best suited for an adult amateur or even a junior interested in producing a young horse in any direction.
