Oakley is a 2007 15.2 hand grade paint gelding. Oakley has put in many miles on the trails as well as whipped in several fox hunting seasons with different staff riders. He is one of the sweetest geldings to be around on the ground and is easy to handle for everything in the barn, perfect to bathe, clip or shoe. Oakley is ready to slow down into a light trail riding job, teach your kiddo how to ride or simply enjoy some nice hacks around the farm. He goes in a snaffle, has a quiet trot that would be easy to learn to post, and has a slow and comfortable canter. Oakley's only quirks are that he paws in a slant load trailer, but does not seem to in a stock trailer or a straight load, however, he has no issues loading and unloading. While he has lived in many different herd environments, he is very dominant in the pasture, and for that reason he is well suited, and happy, in individual turnout.
